Port Aventura

Port Aventura is a leisure complex, located between the municipalities vila-seca and Salou in Tarragona, Spain. With more than 4 million visitors during the last year, this amusement park is one of the main tourist spots of the Costa Daurada and the most visited theme park in Spain. In addition, it is the only amusement park that appears in the list of the most visited parks in Europe, after Disneyland Paris, Europa Park and Universal Studios.

The complex, which has been expanded several times since its inception, currently consists of a theme park (PortAventura Park), a water park (Costa Caribe Aquatic Park), five thematic hotels, parking for caravans and a wellness center with track of golf to escape for a while under the Mediterranean sun. In addition, this last year has opened a theme park in tribute to the Ferrari brand (FerrariLand) starts with the intention of adding more than 1 million visitors in this first year.

PortAventura Park is open almost all year round. In summer you can enjoy all the water attractions while in winter the main focus of interest are the parades and thematic shows. On Halloween, for example, monsters and zombies invade the park while at Christmas you can greet Santa Claus in his Christmas Parade parade or enjoy a day of ice skating.

PortAventura Park is divided into 6 different areas based on different historical civilizations (Mediterrania, Polynesia, China, Mexico, Far West and Sésamo Aventura). In each area you can enjoy different animations, restaurants and attractions that recreate the world of these civilizations and cultures of each town. For example, in the area of China you can enjoy the famous attractions Shambhala and Dragon Khan while in the Mediterranean area is the Furius Baco roller coaster.

The hotel is located in Calella, Barcelona, and approximately two hours from Port Aventura.
